The Kontex Mixer-Granulator is a high-efficiency mixing and granulation device based on the turbulent mixing principle. With its unique mixing technology, it delivers outstanding performance in both mixing and granulation during homogenization applications, guaranteeing the production of superior final products.

Mixing Principles:

1. Uniform Rotation
Under the combined action of the high-speed rotor, rotating mixing pan, and multi-functional scraper, the materials achieve optimal mixing uniformity in the shortest possible time.

2. Coarse Mixing of Materials
The mixing pan, tilted at a specific angle, conveys materials upward during rotation. When the materials reach a certain height, they fall downward due to gravity. Coarse mixing of the materials is achieved through both horizontal and vertical movements.

3. High-Fine Mixing
Materials are conveyed obliquely upward by the rotating mixing pan and enter the mixing zone of the eccentrically positioned high-speed rotor, where they undergo high-intensity mixing motion, achieving high-fine mixing of the materials.

4. Powerful Support
The multi-functional scraper prevents material from adhering to the bottom and walls of the mixing pan during the mixing process, disrupts the material flow direction, provides powerful support for efficient material mixing, and accelerates discharge after the mixing process is completed.

5. Co-directional Rotation Available
The rotating mixing pan and high-speed rotor generally rotate in opposite directions to achieve the most intense mixing motion of the materials within the mixer. However, to meet the specific process requirements of certain materials, the mixing pan and high-speed rotor can also be set to rotate in the same direction.

6. Mixing Process
During material mixing, the speeds of the rotating drum (mixing pan) and high-speed rotor can be preset according to process requirements. Speed adjustments can also be made to the operating mixer during the mixing process to achieve an interleaved mixing process.

Technical Features:

◎ The equipment operates on the counter-current three-dimensional motion principle, combining rotary granulation and high-speed mixing granulation to complete spheronization and granulation in the fastest and most efficient manner.

◎ The main functional components consist of the mixing-granulation drum, the high-speed mixing-granulation tool set, and a fixed scraper. The mixing-granulation drum is installed at a specific inclined angle, with the high-speed mixing-granulation tool set positioned eccentrically. The fixed curved scraper is installed at the bottom side of the drum.

◎ During the granulation process, the granulation drum rotates clockwise at a relatively low speed, while the granulation tool set rotates counterclockwise at high speed. The rotating granulation drum conveys the materials into the movement path of the granulation tool set. Meanwhile, the fixed scraper breaks up the material flow. Under the combined action of the rotating drum, the high-speed granulation tool, and the fixed scraper, a complex three-dimensional mixing-granulation material flow is formed, achieving rapid and high-quality homogenization of the materials while completing spheronization and granulation.
